How can you get a new duplicate RC from Parivahan?

First of all, I want to say that download the offline form from the below-given download link and then fill that form as per the given below instructions.

If you have lost your vehicle RC then you need to register an FIR in your nearest police station as you will need the FIR copy in this process.

After completing this online application process, finally, you have to make the appointment through online mode and take a printout copy of the same appointment.

Along with the appointment and with some documents you have to visit the RTO/DTO office to complete the verification process. What documents will be required regarding all these, the details of the documents are given below.

If your vehicle is on loan then you have to take NOC from your financier company or financier bank for duplicate RC print from the transport department of Govt.

What documents are required with RTO Form 26?

Along with RTO Form 26, you need to collect the below-mentioned documents to get a duplicate RC.

• Application in Form 26
• Police certificate
• Pollution under control certificate self-attested
• Valid insurance certificate with self-attested
• Proof of address
• Chassis & Engine Pencil Print
• Identity proof
• FIR Copy
• PAN Card or Form 60 & Form 61(as applicable)
• Tax clearance from Accounts Department in commercial vehicles

How to Fill RTO Form 26?

Follow the instructions to fill that form as follows –

1. At first, enter your RTO/DTO office name.
2. Then in the second blank write your vehicle registration number.
3. In the third blank section, give reasons why you want to print the RC. In case of loss, write that your RC is lost.
4. And In the fourth blank, write the date of submission of the police FIR.
5. Finally, you also give your signature and fill in the date, address as mentioned in that form.
6. On the second page of that form, you have to take NOC from the financier if your vehicle is on loan otherwise no need.
