What is RTGS and NEFT Remittance Form?

Before downloading SBI RTGS/NEFT Form you should know about RTGS and NEFT are interbank transfer methods implemented by the RBI. Whose full form is – RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement) and NEFT (National Electronic Funds Transfer).

If money is to be transferred by RTGS, then the minimum amount of money should be not less than two lakhs and there is no maximum limit. And to transfer money through NEFT, you need to have a minimum amount of Rs 1 and there is no maximum limit.

Why fill out the SBI RTGS/NEFT form?

This SBI RTGS/NEFT form is filled to transfer money from one bank account to another. Two methods are given in that form which are RTGS or NEFT.

There is a difference in these two forms that if you are transferring more than two lakh money then choose RTGS. And if you want to transfer less than two lakh money then choose NEFT.

You can also transfer more than two lakh money through NEFT but that method takes a little more time for the money to be transferred.

You have to fill in the following information in the SBI RTGS/NEFT form.

  • Firstly, the amount of money needs to be transferred.
  • Account number of the account from which the money will be deducted.
  • Name of the beneficiary to whom the money is being transferred.
  • Fourthly, the Name of the beneficiary bank to whom the money is being transferred.
  • Account number of the beneficiary to whom the money is being transferred.
  • IFSC code, from whom the money will deduct. (IFSC is given on the cheque leaves.)

How to fill SBI RTGS and NEFT forms?
